“Mirko was AMAZING guide, loved his charming personality and stories! The only downside was the big line to enter the Dodge’s palace so once inside we basically had to run trough it quickly because the excursion time was going to an end. It’s nice we were able to come back again to the palace and walk trough it by ourselves without a rush.”

“The guide spoke too fast and was hard to keep up with. She did not help us leave the palace, therefore it was difficult to find the exit. We took the gondola ride at the end of the tour. The directions were so vague that we had lots of difficulty finding the meeting place. A random gondolier had to show us where to go. There was a restroom at the office where we started the tour. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to use it, so we were rather uncomfortable. I was pretty disappointed overall with this tour.”

“My wife and I absolutely loved our tour guide, Sara! We’ve been on 6 tours between Rome, Florence, and Venice. We’ve had some really good guides, but Sara was far and away the BEST one yet! She had the knowledge, but the way she talked about what we were seeing, and what we were about to see, was like a performance. She had a great way of building up suspense for what was coming next. She was AMAZING!”

“Denise was a wonderful guide. A local Venetian with family that goes back generations, she provided interesting information not only about the Doge’s Palace but also about Venice and Venetian history. And she did so in a humorous manner that did not come across as memorized or canned - a refreshing change from other guides we’ve had in the past. If you’ve never toured the palace or it’s your first time in Venice, I highly recommend this tour. So much interesting history and amazing art located within the walls. Not to mention the experience of walking the same path as so many poor souls who crossed the Bridge of Sighs…”
