“463 steps to the top of the dome. The first 150 steps are the hardest, then it gets better, with an incredible view on the outside of the dome waiting. I was concerned about the climb but more than happy I made it. I’m 69 years old and my wife 73 and we both made it. The museum was stunning and the inside of the church is a must see.”

“A bit confusing as to wear to pick up your tickets, as it is different then the meeting area and very unclear in the instructions on GRG. But once we figured it out, it was easy (well, not the climb itself...that was tough!). Line was short as the group start times are spaced out. Doors opened right on time.”

Florence Duomo express tour review covering skip-the-line entry, the 30-minute guide, dome climb, museum access, value, and practical tips.
“Well worth the cost - time is money ... and you'll stand in line for hours if you do this on your own. Quick, informative tour inside the Duomo (which is fairly plain, compared to the exterior) followed by the 463 step climb to the top of the Duomo. The views are unparalleled once you get there. We are in our mid 60's and had no problem. The climb is slow paced and you can stop for a breather at any time if needed. They give you plenty of time to make a full spin around the exterior for photos and videos. A bucket list item on any Florence visit.”
Review of Florence Duomo interior entry with host and audio guide, including what you see, wait times, dress rules, value, and booking advice.
“Registering for it on line was complicated. Could be more clear and streamlined. The audio devices are poor quality. If I stayed close to the leader i heard well that way. He was excellent.”
